Megapot Results — Privacy Policy

Overview

Megapot Results ("the App") is an independent, third-party information utility that displays publicly available data from the Megapot protocol on the Base blockchain. This privacy policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

The App collects minimal data necessary to provide its services:

• Device Token (optional): If you enable push notifications, your Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token is sent to our server to deliver notifications. This token does not identify you personally.
• Wallet Addresses (locally stored): If you save wallet addresses for lookup, they are stored on your device using local storage. Addresses are sent to our server only when you perform a lookup query, and are not permanently stored server-side.
• Notification Preferences: Your notification settings (which alerts you've enabled) are stored alongside your device token if push notifications are active.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information.
• We do not collect payment information or financial data.
• We do not use cookies or web tracking technologies.
• We do not connect to cryptocurrency wallets or access private keys.
• We do not collect device identifiers beyond the APNs token.

How We Use Data

• APNs tokens are used solely to deliver push notifications you have opted into (draw results, jackpot milestones).
• Wallet address queries are used to fetch publicly available ticket and claim data from the Base blockchain via our indexed database. Queries are not logged or stored.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Push Notification service (APNs): To deliver push notifications.
• Base blockchain RPC providers: To read publicly available on-chain data. No personal data is transmitted to these providers.
• DigitalOcean: Our backend server is hosted on DigitalOcean App Platform.
• Neon: Our database is hosted on Neon (PostgreSQL).

Data Retention

• APNs device tokens are retained as long as you have push notifications enabled. Uninstalling the App automatically invalidates the token.
• Saved wallet addresses are stored locally on your device and are deleted when you remove them in the App or uninstall the App.

Data Deletion

You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App. To request deletion of your APNs token from our server, contact us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 17+ and is not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
